After leaving the Los Angeles Stars organization, former general manager Jeffrey Pines has had to watch the organization he has put time and effort into the for the previous ten seasons enter their first true rebuild. Although becoming general manager in his last playing season and consequently trading himself, and then also beating himself in the S80 playoffs, this will be the first time Pines has had to watch the Stars as a fan. As the franchises first draft pick he's had the opportunity to influence the organization for a while but his time has reached an end and the new management has already purged everything except forward AJ Williams from the squad - including removing his keycard access to enter the CRYPTO.COM arena - a place he's called home for the entirety of his adult life. Now the full time player agent for Predators defenseman Tavish DeGroot, Pines hopes the full guidance will benefit the reckless defender as he enters his 6th locker room in his 3 season career following a 26 penalty minute playoffs.
