Draft Day

I’ve been drafted into the VHLM. I was picked earlier than expected by the Missasauga Hounds at 16th, and now it’s my time to shine. The team isn’t the greatest which I will have more of a chance to shine and I’ve already started to get to know my teammates. Training camp hasn’t been too bad so far and I’m just trying to get myself in the right mindset given the fact I will soon be a starter. Having played above my age level then going to the M at 16 meant that it had been some time since I was the star of a team, but it was finally my time to lead a team again. The main focus this year is to show scouts what I can do and how well I can lead a team, and with the change of scenery and new opportunities I hope I can do just that. It’s gonna be weird moving to Canada for the first time, but sometimes life moves in mysterious ways.
