Greg_Di 1,026
The Eagles dynasty continues as another member of the Eagles family has decided to lace up the skates and start their journey towards the VHL. This time , the son of Tom Eagles, Henry has decided to join the league and begin his journey to a great career like his grandfather Greg and Father Tom. Henry was born in Wroclaw, Poland just like the rest of his family but he is the only Eagles to be a Forward. He learned his hockey skills from both his Grandfather and Father at a very young age. Both the Eagles saw that he had way more skill and talent at that young of an age then any of them and know that he will become a superstar in the league. Who knows, maybe he could become the first Eagles to enter the HOF. Henry has so far played all his career in the Wroclaw leagues and currently captains his team. He has broken all sorts of records in the polish league by being the first ever player to break 100 points in 40 games and also the highest scoring player in Poland history by finishing his last season with over 180 points. Henry knows that those numbers will never happen in the VHL but he is hoping that he can atleast hit the 100+ point marks a few times before his career is done. He has also represented Poland in the U16 and U18 tournaments where he surprisingly led a very amateur Polish team to 2 bronze finishes. The scouts overlooking his career have noted that he is a fast scoring winger who also has amazing hands. The puck feels like it is attached on a string to his stick. He has a lot of work to do still in his playmaking abilities but he still has time to shine and work on that aspect of his game. He is not a very physical player but he doesn't need to be when he can dance around any defending player. He may be a liability on defense but when his putting up 3-4 goals a game, those liabilities quickly fade from your mind. He has a high potential to improve on that aspect of his game and if he does, he will be a real threat in the league. With his family pedigree and both Greg and Tom in his training corner, who knows how far Henry can go. Don't sleep on this kid, he is definitely a star in the making. diacope 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/121068-henry-eagles-junior-review/ Share on other sites
