Many believed that the Vasteras Iron Eagles were going to sweep through the playoffs and capture the Renaissance Cup. Really, the only people who doubted that highly were the Bratislava Watchmen and their fans. They came into the finals heated and ready to go, and among them was the young center, Napoleon Dynamite. In Dynamite's short run in the VHLM he captured the Founder's Cup with the Saskatoon Wild, something he did not expect to happen as a new face on the ice. What made that victory even sweeter was when he was given the honor of being the first star of the Commissioner's Cup final. Well, after a hard-fought season in the VHLE, Dynamite once again found himself playing in a cup final, and just like before he performed when the pressure was the highest. In Game 5 of the VHLE Renaissance Cup final, Dynamite once again upped his game and leadership. While only scoring 1 goal and having 1 assist in the game, Dynamite's natural ability to lead came out as he called out passes, and plays, and even helped encourage the other Watchmen on the bench. That is why he was given the honor of being the first star of the Renaissance Cup final. Many are wondering and even hoping that Dynamite can keep this momentum going and find himself being the first star in a Continental Cup final game.
