Molly the Cat, the Season 83 championships have ended and unfortunately the Las Vegas Aces beat the San Diego Marlins. Can we get quick reaction?

It would have been nice to hoist the cup, it is definitely a disappointment. I know that every player on the San Diego marlins gave everything that they had. We are proud of what we accomplished. It just didn’t work out. However, the Las Vegas Aces are a great team, and they deserve recognition for the year they had. They fought hard and their goaltenders produced some amazing saves just when they needed them most.

Molly the Cat, even though you did not hoist the cup, you did have an excellent playoff and ended up with the most number of points by any player in the league. How does it feel to hold that honor in Season 83?

Every player wants to contribute to the success of their team. My job night in and night out is to put the puck in the net or help my fellow players do that. Being able to show yourself as the most productive player in the league over a period like the playoffs gives a sense of reassurance as to why you are in the league. I now must look forward to next season and a new team in the VHLE and establishing myself there. I know it is going to be tougher, but I genuinely believe that the experiences I received as part of the San Diego Marlins have helped prepare me for that.

What is Molly the Cat’s plan for the offseason?

I am hoping to take some time to visit family and friends, heal up from some of the bruises I am experiencing and then I plan to hit the Gym, visit my skating coach, and start training for next season. Obviously, I am anxiously waiting for the VHL and VJLE drafts to see who has interest in me playing there in the future. Once that is known I hope to reach out to my fellow players and start the process of getting to know them. Being prepared for next year is my top priority.

Molly the Cat, speaking of the Draft, have you had any conversations with any of the teams and can you tell us your thoughts so far?

I have definitely had conversations with some of the teams. At this point they have been very casual, touching base, nothing specific. I reached out personally to Frank our GM for San Diego when I heard he was hired to his new VHL team. He definitely deserves the job, he was a great GM and helped all of us over the last season. I would not be upset if he drafted me. On the other hand there are a lot of great teams out there and I am looking forward to putting my mark on any one of them.

Well that is our last interview with Molly the Cat, VHLM scoring star. Thanks for taking the time to talk with us and we wish you great success in the VHLE.

Review: Love the creative idea in interviewing your player for the Media Spot. Overall, the spelling, grammar and word choice isn't majorly hindering in my opinion. I like that you put the italics for when the reporter is speaking and normal font for when Molly is talking. Some stuff that I would like to see improved is the adding off a header, images and quotation marks for when a person is talking. But that's just me being nit-picky. You've put a nice effort into your writing and it shows, nice job! 7.5/10
