Daniel Weaver and his world junior horrible appearance

Daniel Weaver's disappointing World Junior appearance...

 

Daniel Weaver was quite excited to play in the world junior, but now he just had a traumatizing experience from it.

 

He was selected to play for Team World in the tournament and he had the chance to play with players like Callem Murray who was a top 5 pick in the victory hockey league and Henry Eagles who he is competing with in the draft rankings.

 

He was looking up to playing for his World team, but it was not what he expected. It's the first time that he wasn't really a key piece for a team which threw him off of his game. He went from playing 30 minutes a game with multiple responsibilities to 15 minutes and warming the bench for quite some period of time.

 

He felt like he never had the chance to showcase his skills and that explains why his stats for the world junior is horrendous. He played a total of 9 games and he had ZERO points! Hear me out, he only shot once! ONCE! His role was basically to get on the ice and hold the puck as much as they can so that the top players can have a rest. Traumatizing and he hopes to forget this experience for the upcoming VHLM season.

Now for the team, they won their first 4 games looking like the best world cup team ever and shit just went to the drain, we really choked and we need to be held accountable for it. We will be better next time!
