Those are my career numbers so far. If you are good with numbers you know that those totals translate to a shooting percentage of just under 6.4%, not a great shooting percentage by any means. Last year I had 19 goals, which is the record of my career, I have not managed to break the magical 20-goal mark yet. Could I do it this year? Maybe. I have 8 goals in 32 games, so if I keep going like I have been going so far, I could finish the year with 20+ goals.

 

For that to happen, I would need to get more shots to the net. So far in 32 games I have fired 139 shots, 59 missed the net, and 38 were blocked. Those who are good at math know that 97 out of 139 shots have not hit the net. With 42 shots that have made it to the net, I have scored 8 goals, 19% of the shots that make it to the net go in, that is not a bad total!

 

It is entirely possible that I failed to do the math correctly in this article, but the point is that I could reach 20 goals this year, and that is nice.
