jacobcarson877 2,529
Calgary has been on a bit of a slide in the last 10 games, and Landon Wolanin’s sloppy performance should be on the forefront of the discussion. As much as Wolanin has the 2nd highest shooting percentage on the team, he has only scored 1 goal on the 38 shots over the last 10 games. He has also been shooting rather streakily, having multiple 1 shot games. Wolanin obviously needs to be shooting more often in order to score at a good rate. Playing the majority of the time with Janser and Kotkakoivu, obviously the offense will flow through them, but Wolanin could be said to be holding them back from performing at the same level they have historically. Tough to say, but this won’t be slowing Wolanin down when it comes to training. He will continue to push himself to be a star, but it is never an instantaneous thing. Trust the process, trade the picks. Oh wait wrong saying. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/124053-landon-wolanins-scoring-slump/ Share on other sites
