#AsktheBouch: Happy 15th, 500 TPE & Rookie of the year?

#AsktheBouch is back with more random thoughts so without much more waffling lets get started since I normally go over in these anyways:

 

•          15 years is a huge accomplishment for the VHL and I am proud that I found the league a few seasons back. While my history is short with the league hopefully the league and my tenure here will last similar length.

•          Traded: Yup, I have had my player trade a few weeks back and it was a complete shock to tell the truth as I was in the middle of working on a media article based on the future of the team and waiting to submit the article that I have already deleted since being traded. I remember looking at my phone at work just checking scores when I was tagged about being traded. I kept looking at my phone for a few moments like what?

•         Vancouver tank is official: Losing six straight game and traded away our best asset about a week ago so not expecting to win too many more games if any during the rest of the season. It will make the off season a very long one since I don`t see any point in following the play-offs if your team is not taking part so congrats to whomever wins!! (guess I should stay interested based on predictions but who actually looks at these after making them?)

•         Rookie of the Year: surprised after the trade Bouchard is still very much holding tight to the leaders but clearly is slowed with under a point per game pace now with 7pts in 17 game since joining Vancouver (missed three games after the trade as I didn`t make the line-up) compared to the 33pts in 33 games. Still 40pts in a true Rookie season I think is impressive as it is more than my first player; I think?

•          500+ TPE: Wow!! Either I have been super lucky with this player or it is a huge difference knowing what you are actually doing in the league in the way of earning TPE as P.E. Bouchard should hit 500+ TPE this week after writing this and other TPE tasks. This means he is 126 TPE above expected as his project was to only to be 382 TPE.
