Third quarter report for Ori (S84) closing in on some milestones

Hello once again VHL goers, we're almost through the whole season, 18 games remain and we have 18 more to cover. Ori had a small bounce back, reaching 20 points once again in the quarter. His play was mostly strong, only failing to score in five games. For every game he failed to score in though he made up for it, with five multi point games, he also ended the quarter with a seven game point streak. He scored 6 goals and 14 assists, leaving him 2 shy of 100, 12 away from 300 assists and 14 away from 400 career points. He also crossed the 400 games played earlier this season. Ori had his strongest performance in the faceoff circle this quarter, winning a whopping 447 of 694 for a winning percentage of 64.41%, six percent better than the previous two quarters.

 

Seattle is holding down second in the North American conference, D.C is still a good bit ahead so they may have to settle with defending second place. We had a chance to sit down with Ori and talk to him about how he's feeling about the season so far. "It's been really fun, we have a great group of guys here and I really look forward to seeing what we can do in the playoffs. Bana joins us in the locker room a lot and it's a very friendly atmosphere. I'm gonna miss anyone that doesn't return for next season, but that's just how this goes."
