InstantRockstar 1,243
A few weeks ago when looking at the standings and the overall performance of the Americans, I wrote an article similar to this expressing we may be in some trouble and the results were simply not swaying in our favour. Since i wrote that article, a lot has changed. GMing and management has made a huge change, with the now former GM MexicanCow stepping down and the then current AGM (now former AGM) Fresco taking over the reigns of the team. Whether this alone was the reason for recent success, or just sudden change in play style, the Americans can be just a bit happier to finally see some positive results going their way. Kennedy is also looking quite sharp despite the team not competing for a playoff spot. Among starters (50+ games played), Kennedy sits 2nd for SV% (.930%) only behind Moscows Emeritus (.941%), and also sits 3 in the league for shutouts (6). Overall, the Americans future looks very bright and the sky now is the limit for this young team. Should they be able to continue adding to this core, a playoff contention run is not ruled out of question.
