Bulduray_1 274
Time to Shine Moscow- Finally the dust has settled, and the playoff picture has been revealed. After some thrilling wild card matches, the Moscow Menace are finally ready to play. Their first round opponent will be HC Davos Dynamo, a team who has been able to fly under the radar for the most part. But after winning a thrilling wildcard series against the tough Riga Reign team they have caught the attention of many fans around the league. It’s safe to say that this series won’t be a walk in the park for the Moscow Menace. After being able to grab the last playoff spot in the European Conference with 83 points in the regular season, the Dynamo knew they had nothing to lose and everything to gain. They had to battle it out with the Riga Reign, going down to the wire with Davos having the last laugh and winning game 5 to knock out Riga. Having a great effort from their defensive regiment to win 4-0. The Moscow Menace are the obvious front runners and favorites to win this series. They are confident that a well-renowned offense will excel against a more young and inexperienced Davos defense. Leading the way for the offense will be their captain, The Seabasstard who's having a spectacular year once again for Moscow. Being ranked 7th overall in point totals in the regular season. The Seabasstard will bring the offensive reliability that Moscow desperately needs to win this series. Moving over to the defensive side of the puck, the Davos Dynamo has some tough customers coming from their offensive lineup. Names such as Vinny Detriot and Zeedayno Chara will surely be putting Moscow’s defense to the test. Leading the charge will be long time Menace, Hard Markinson who has always come up big in the playoffs on both the defensive and offensive sides of the game. Will these playoffs engrave Markinson as a true playoff hero? Last but not least, we have the goaltending matchup, the starting goaltender for the Davos Dynamo will be David Davis who has had a very respectable season so far with Davos. Being at the forefront of Davos’s defensive success both in the regular season and in the wildcard series. He’ll be facing off against the timeless Papa Emeritus who is coming off his best season so far as a long-time goaltender for the Menace. Breaking career high’s left and right this season, Papa Emeritus hopes to continue his success in the playoffs. Maybe even leading them to a Continental Cup. badcolethetitan and Spartan 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/125166-time-to-shine/ Share on other sites
