It turns out the VHLM playoffs are actually super exciting! I mean that in the way that you absolutely can't predict what will happen, even in heavily unbalanced matchups. Ottawa has shocked absolutely everyone by dealing with the Hounds easily. Looking back at what I predicted to happen, I PICKED MISSISSAUGA TO WIN THE WHOLE THING. I also basically wrote off Ottawa and said "Good luck," not thinking they had any chance. But I've been proven wrong, which is nice because it makes the league more fun. The other team I thought was going to be very good, Philadelphia, has been dispatched just as easily by Mexico City. Obviously I thought Vegas was by far the best team but my confidence in them has been shaken by the fact that Saskatoon beat them twice. At least I gave Halifax the option of winning their series, which is good because they now sit at a game 7 with Houston. Clearly, I jinx whatever teams I think are good so you better hope I don't start rooting for yours.
