Nearing the end of season in the VHLE, the Istanbul Red Wolves hold a commanding 3-1 series lead over Vasteras. Only a season removed from the first round choke against Bratislava in S83, the Red Wolves are looking to obtain their first championship in franchise history.

 

Istanbul’s season has born fruition, cultivating in a regular season first place standing with 100 points along with the best goal differential in the VHLE. The team has been carried by incredible play on all fronts, with multiple players earning top honors at the end of the season for their point totals and statistics.

 

”I would not be surprised to see multiple Red Wolves given awards at the end of the season,” GM KaleebtheMighty stated to the media. “With the best forward in the league along with an incredible supporting cast, there’s no question this season has been a success for the team regardless of how the finals end this upcoming week.”

 

It truly has been a team effort this season for the Red Wolves, which could garner some serious hardware for both the players and the organization depending on the last few games in the VHLE finals. All eyes turn to Game 5 of the VHLE finals in Istanbul, where the cup will be waiting in the building to see if the season ends tomorrow!
