Since the last media spot I've done a lot has happened. As always Richards is eager to be playing games with his teammates and he is on the Delhi Pickles with a bunch of former San Diego Marlins teammates including all-star goaltender Kirbithan or Lachlan Summers. Richards joined the ProAm too but not too much has happened just yet there. Unfortunately the Delhi Pickles could not pick up Sadie St Louis but Richards is still happy with how the team is performing and is happy with his own performance. Richards is also extremely happy for Sadie as she is one of the JST's top point producers and Richards just loves to see his teammates succeed.

Richards himself has only scored 8 points in the first 9 games but he is coming off of a four point game including a hat trick. He hopes to help the team ultimately win the tournament and be a contributing factor in the matter. Kirbithan, Sadie and I have developed a very strong friendship amongst ourselves and would love to be drafted to the same team in the VHLM draft but we all know that it is highly unlikely. Nontheless, Richards is looking forward to the draft and playing more games in the JST and starting in the ProAm. He hopes that whatever team he is drafted to includes some familiar teammates to be comfortable in the locker room.

Richards has been often compared to Patrik Laine of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL because of his inconsistencies goal scoring-wise but was also compared to Ondrej Palat of the New Jersey Devils by GM Jacob. Richards tries to model his game after Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos as that is Richards' favourite player in the NHL and really enjoys seeing his one-timer in action. Richards has recently put up stronger performances in the JST and he also finished the season with the San Diego Marlins a lot stronger than he had started. A lot can be said about his gaining in TPE but I like to say he got warmed up and is now on a ramped terror.

Though Richards isn't a point per game it doesn't matter much because in San Diego he was just a single point below a point per game and now it's the same thing in the JST at the time I am writing this. As he gains TPE more and more he aims toupgrade his wrist shot attribute, his defensive coverage attribute and, his offensive vision attribute. So far these are the highest rated attributes he has and he aims to make his skating attribute a little better as well. Richards has been impressing me as of late and he should continue to impress as his career in the VHL continues. As long as Richards can figure out how to become a much more consistent and efficient at scoring I think every team would love to have a scoring right winger on their team.

Like I said before Richards had a 4 point game in the JST 3 goals and an assist but he also had a four point game in the VHLM with the San Diego Marlins as well scoring 4 goals in a game. The way I sum up Richards is: when he's on he's on. This is just ensinuating that when Richards get's going offensively he can be dynamite but when he's not scoring it's not much you're getting from him. He is still a good back checker just looking at his stats (defensive stats) so when he's not doing much offensively you can probably count on a big blocked shot or a couple of hits that night.

Funny thing to note before I end this media spot, Lachlan Summers the goaltender has a tripping penalty minor and a minor slashing penalty. I figure Summers is as angry as Ron Hextall from back in the day with the Flyers, Broad Street Bullies as they were called.
