As the JST round robin ends, Richards has seen much more progression from his individual performances. He has become a much more consistent and balanced player scoring a point almost every game. He finished the Round Robin with 28 points in 30 games played. He was just under a point per game and had 11 goals for his efforts. Teammate of Richards, Lachlan Summers noted that "his secondary scoring was what helped the team score more goals." Richards had a strong showing at the tournament so far and as the playoffs get underway he continues to impress even more.

In playoff game number 1 the Pickles suffer a tough loss blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period where the Warriors came back, forced overtime and won. Richards had a strong playoff debut for the Pickles in game 1 scoring 2 goals. Game 2, Rihards was no where to be found as he was kept off the scoresheet all night. However the Pickles won that game by a score of 4-3. Game 3 was another loss this time in regulation time. As the pickles lost 6-3, Richards had an assist.

So far in the playoffs Richards is a point per game and a positive contributer to the Pickles offense. He hopes that this is a consistent type of thing and that he can stay red hot. As the Warriors currently lead the series 2-1, the Pickles have some pressure to win games 4 and 5. Richards and others on the team will be doing the best they can to face off elimination and continue on to the next round but it all happens one game at a time. We suffered a very tough OT loss but we can't let that haunt us for the rest of the round. We have to continue to work as hard as possible and stick to our gameplan if we want to win.

Richards is proud of his performance in the JST so far and in the ProAm he got drafted 41st overall. Being picked here means he goes ahead of his friends Lachlan, who for some reason, hasn't been drafted yet, and Sadie. To Richards being drafted before them means he went 1st overall. He can brag for seasons to come. He's excited to start the ProAm tournament and is eager to play alongside new teammates.

Richards has also started to be interviewed for the upcoming VHLM draft. Las Vegas Aces General Manager, Shindigs, asked Richards if he would be willing to play for the Aces. The answer was obviously yes but Richards would play for anyone in the VHLM he's not the type of guy who will choose to say no because he knows he isn't talented enough to do so. Even if he were talented enough he still wouldn't, Richards is a heart and soul kind of guy he will devote everything to the team he is on and do his best to make his team succeed. Richards is hopeful that whichever team drafts him also drafts either Lachlan or Sadie or both but it's highly unlikely that the trio stays together.

P.S: laptop screen is broken so i have to use my TV to see what I'm typing if there's many spelling, puntuation or grammatical errors please let it be as I'm doing the best I can with what I got.
