No, it’s not the air conditioner or the sound of exercise machines. This is a hum that will continue on forever, even when the stadium and the team are long gone and forgotten. It started one day seemingly out of nowhere, until it became like a choir. In the depths of the locker room, in a room hidden from outsiders, it is there. Emanating with a pulsing light which draws all who see it in. The hum grows louder as you approach and the sound and the light pull you towards it. There is no escaping it. It compels you. Calls to you. There is no escape. You may try but your feet continue and you soon wonder why you tried to walk away in the first place...
