The Most Exciting 21-And-Under Players in the NHL

Coming in Hot

Moscow - After a slow start to the Moscow Menace’s season, it seems like that was all a faint. With the Moscow Menace showing displays of talent only other teams could hope for. This has gotten fans once again amped up for Moscow’s season. Although Moscow fans have been heartbroken many times in the past, there is nothing stopping them from supporting such an electrifying team.

Moscow has shown once again that it will never be counted out, after a slow start the first week of the season, the tables have turned drastically. Moscow is now second in the European Conference, just behind the ever so talented Warsaw Predators.

Sergey Preobrazhensky, Moscow’s first line centermen has had a remarkable season so far. Playing alongside former VHLM teammate, Robert Wilk and the sophomore, Tomas Sogaard, Sergey knew that there would be plenty of opportunities to shine with a line full of talent. Preobrazhensky has been leading the Menace in multiple offensive categories, such as points and P/20, while being tied with The Seabasstard for most assists on the team. Sergey’s flaming hot start had sure turned some heads around, especially from the media, today Sergey is back to answer some questions people have had for the rising star.

Reporter: “Hey Sergey, it’s been a while since we last chatted, now you're third in the VHL for total points and displaying some of the greatest hockey we’ve seen in a while. We know you were critical about your performance at the start of the season, has your attitude changed?”

Sergey: “Definitely not, it’s still incredibly important that I keep going. Even with the unprecedented success I have received so far, it is never enough. There is always something bigger and better that I can work for. So to answer your question, my attitude has not changed at all. Infact, my attitude has probably even gotten more critical, now that there is less room for error.”

Reporter: “Interesting, your team is once again at the top half of the standings, how do you feel about that?”

Sergey: “I already knew that we would be at the top of the standings one way or another. The biggest question is how will we handle the playoffs, because so far, it’s been heartbreak after heartbreak.”

Reporter: “Lastly, how do you feel about the new looking team? Is this the year you finally win it all?”

Sergey: “The Moscow team has always been something special, I love the way the team plays, with passion and hunger. But to be honest with you, I still cannot say if this team has what it takes, it’s just too early to see what this team is made of. Try me again two weeks down the line.”

It seems like things are clicking in Moscow, Sergey is on pace for a historical season, while the Moscow Menace once again find their footing after a shaky start. Although still underrated, Sergey has definitely sparked some attention, he hopes to keep his success streak going against Moscow’s next opponent, the Prague Phantoms.
