S85 Trade deadline interview

We are at the trade deadline of Season 85 in the VHL. We found time to speak with Calgary Wranglers defenseman AirRig GoodBrandSun @Rhynex Entertainment who has stated the wish to improve his defensive game previously.

 

Reporter: Hello AirRig! Great seeing you after another week of hockey! With trade deadline just around the corner, how do you feel your team has been playing? What could you do to improve your standings and help the fight for the playoffs?

 

AG: Hello. We've had a tough week of hockey. I haven't been much help later. Need to tighten up defensively and shoot better. Quality over quantity. Or better yet, quality and quantity over just quantity.

 

Reporter: You stated previously that you wanted to work on your defensive game, how has that been?

 

AG:  Definitely need to work harder. Haven't been great defensively and it shows on the scoreboard. Need to tighten things up and get back to the basics. Lots of hockey left. Got to play hard and get to playing to our potential. We need to get in front of those shots at both ends of the ice. Block the ones shot against @Ben and tip those against the opposition.
