1. Code of conduct

- The JST is directly linked to the VHL and therefore follow the same C.O.C. 

 

2. Player eligibility

- The players must be eligible for the next VHL or VHLM draft and have played in the VHLM during the previous season

- The players must be considered active according to the VHLM rules (Updated in the last 3 weeks)

 

2.1 Draft eligibility

- To be eligible for the JST draft, a player must be created before the commencement of the draft

 

2.2 Waivers eligibility

- To be considered a waiver, a player must be created after the commencement of the draft

 

2.3 TPA cap

- The TPA cap is 200 TPE

- Eligible players with more than 200 TPA will be regressed to 200 TPA for the tournament

 

3. Roster composition

- The minimum roster size is 6 forwards, 4 defensemen and 1 goalie

- The maximum roster size is 12 forwards, 8 defensemen and 2 goaltenders

 

4. Scouting

- VHL, VHLE and VHLM GMs or AGMs may request a ''scout'' role

- There is a limit of 1 scout per VHL/E/M teams

- JST staff affiliated with a VHL/E/M team counts as a scout

- The scout role allow the GM/AGMs to talk in every JST teams locker rooms

 

5. Trading

- Trades are forbidden in this tournament, unless GMs are granted permission from Commissioners.

 

6. Waivers

- Discussions between General Managers and newly created players are to happen directly in the player's creation thread

- The player has to publicly accept the offer from a team to be added to their roster

- GMs can start to pitch to waiver players at the commencement of the draft as those players will not be draft eligible

 

7. Playoffs

- Every teams makes the playoffs

- Teams ranked 3rd through 6th in the standings will play an extra round. This round will be a best of 3 and the winner of this round will face the 1st and 2nd place teams respectively

- The playoffs are a best of 5 games

 

8. Draft

- The JST draft is conducted in snake order

- The draft order is completely random and live streamed

- Draft picks are done on Discord

- There is no time clock for picks, although it is expected to be done in a timely manner
