This is a scouting report for John Jameson currently a forward for the Oslo Storm and prospect for the Prague Phantoms. Standing at 6' 3" tall and 750ml his big frame allows him to utilize his strength to get into high danger areas for scoring chances. Though many scouting services list him as a center he is more of a winger, as his face off ability is lack luster. Except for after a couple doubles then he'll face off against anybody. Right now Jameson's strongest attribute is his shooting, he loves shooters. Leading the VHLE with 51 goals this season is just proof of that.  His other greatest attribute is his puck handling, despite often times being intoxicated he can keep that puck on a string. One underrated aspect of his game is his defensive play, his coaches describe him as a "200 foot player" as cliche as that sounds and definitely not something that coaches toss around like a salad. So those are some of Jameson's strengths, but when you really want to scout a player you need to examine their weaknesses to see if they can overcome them.

Weaknesses (red flags)

Skating

Despite leading the VHLE in a ton of categories this season, skating was not one of them. This is in no way linked to the second weakness on this list as confirmed by his agent. Most scouts we've spoken to describe his skating as careless and describe his stride as slow. Some players can improve their skating if they're dedicated enough, Jameson will have to if he wants to have a long VHL career.

Liquor

We don't like reporting on unsubstantiated rumours but a user on twitter with 100 followers reported that Jameson enjoys endless drinks pre and post game. As well as during games, sneaking it into his water bottle. This is obviously a major concern and something that will have to be addressed. Our suggestion for this would be to suspend Jameson and check him into a substance use program.

Leadership/Discipline

A sign of a strong character in a player/person is high leadership qualities and visible discipline on and off the ice. Jameson currently displays none of these attributes, both currently set to 40 in STHS. If he wants to a better player he would be wise to get these to 90. He might be able to cure weakness number two if he can  get discipline to 99. Despite being named to Oslo's leadership this season, the player has not repaid management with the leadership that was expected of him. This may be a maturity thing or this could be a red flag in the player's development.

All Attributes below 76

If you look at VHL rosters at the moment the best players have most important attributes above 85. Jameson's highest attribute is currently his puck handling. He will need to use his banked tpe wisely if he wants to compete for top rookie next season. Weakness number 3 could play into this, as most rookies lack both leadership and discipline.

Future Outlook

Not great but could be worse. The player clearly has a lot to improve on, despite these early career statistics. Jameson does pair well with ginger and lime. He has yet to find a line mate named Ginger or Lime so if he does look out!
