Yannik Zug knows he has a long way to go to become a player in the Victory Hockey League. The Swiss born player is currently playing for the VHLM's Brampton Blades and has shown some potential with the club so far. Zug has been getting better as each week passes and does show some bright spots that he could become one day a VHL regular. In a league dominated with so many great talents, Yannik could be a project or he could become a top 6 forward. Hockey's Future has Yannik Zug rated a 8.0 D. That means he could become a top 6 winger in the league, or fizzle out into a bust that will never be seen again in the league. Yannik Zug will be a interesting prospect to watch his year in the VHLM, and leading up to the VHL Entry Draft. I think he will most likely be a solid option for any team in the 2nd or 3rd round if he continues his current development with Brampton. But you never know.
