DreMin15 220
A graying man takes one last look over his camp, surveying the area. The man is ill, suffering from an infection caused by a wound days ago. The man wonders what he could have done differently. Perhaps he should have tried to take Rome after all. Wondering does him no good now. He feels himself slipping away. being pulled into an unknown void. So far from his beloved Barcina, the city named after his family. Maybe next time, Fate would smile upon him. He breathes his last, and fades into the great unknown. Name: Hannibal Barca Position: Right Wing Birthday: March 15, 247 BCE Place of Origin: Carthage, Iberia Height: 5'8 Weight: 181 Lbs. After being isekai'd by some cosmic bullshittery, Hannibal Barca fell in love with the game of ice hockey. Both the strategy and violence drew him in, much like how he was drawn to battle. Finding himself in a body much younger than he departed this world with, he decided he would take up the sport. After spending many months learning the game at a small, local rink in Barcelona, Was asked to join a local men's league. Proving his worth in front of members of the Spanish National Program, he was invited to a training camp for Spain's National Team. Barca playting for the Spanish National Team After putting up 10 goals and 31 assists in 17 games while scrimmaging against other European countries' national teams, Barca has caught the eye of the VHL and its derivatives. Having decided to wait for the VHLM draft until choosing a team, instead of signing with a team pre-draft, Barca hopes to prove his worth to any team who decides to take a flyer on him. His teammates have described his style of play as one of the stereotypical playmaker. He uses bursts of speed to get the puck securely into the offensive zone, before finding a trailer or open man, and collecting apples like he works at an orchard. His defensive game has been criticized, though to be fair when has Hannibal ever been known for his defensive strategy? He prioritizes offense, though acknowledges that he needs to work on his defensive game. Barca hopes to develop said defensive game by a baptism by fire. Playing in low-level games hasn't required him to play much defense, which hinders learning the defensive game. Thank you all for reading!
