Another season ended early for the Calgary Wranglers. That meant it was time for the offseason. And when that time comes, Leandro doesn't stay in Calgary for the few days that separate the offseason from the preseason.

Instead, he travels to his home country for some family time. He finds comfort in this time away from the pressure of the VHL.

Within this comfort, on a Friday night in Portugal, when he was about to share dinner with some friends, a call came in. It was his GM, with some news regarding Leandro's usage in the upcoming season.

Although it was past 8 PM in Portugal, that's 2 PM in Calgary. Working time for a Front Office looking making a lot of moves this offseason, trying to improve the Wranglers group for the championship pushes they aim to do in the upcoming seasons.

The call wasn't too long, and after the initial greetings, the message was brief.

"You'll be moving to Center this season."

After two seasons playing winger besides two of the best Centers in the game, it's now Leandro's time to show what he's able to do in the middle.

I guess it's time to improve those Faceoffs.
