The makings of a prodigy.

Kai had no intention of playing hockey till he ran into former VHLE star Antoine Barksdale. The relic of the Las Vegas Aces retired after his one year tenure was a shamble of his former self. They ran into each other on a pickup basketball court, and Kai smoked him 12-6 in a one on one game. Antoine suggested that with his speed he would see well to the ice, and suggested giving it a try. Kai replied "yeah aight." and thought of nothing of it.

 

Then his school forced them to go ice skating on a field trip, and he did move effortlessly. Next step was picking up a stick, and now he was really putting the pieces together in his mind. He could be an all time hockey great. He could picture it, and with that a vicious mentality similar to that of Jordan, and Kobe was formed in his mental. He practiced every day after school spinning, and swerving on skates till he had moves pinned in his brain. He had to be successful.

 

Thus began the rigorous training scene like a movie sequence. Every day out there four hours before school on the ice making sure he could get his shot off if the puck came his way.

Next? Well he made his highschool team, and dominated- thus leading to him being scouted for the VHLE. His journey begins here.
