I think its a good move on both sides but my focus here is on Malmo. With that trade we lost a forward who is in his last season and gained a good defenseman with an expiring contract. Thats a pretty safe bet in my opinion as we get the opportunity to convince that dman to extend instead of being 100% sure to loose a player due to retirement. Worse case scenario, both teams end up having nothing left but a clicker and a third at the off-season. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
