Dimothenis Vlasis the prized 4th overall selection of the Season 37 VHL Entry Draft has seen some major ups and downs in his short career so far. In Season 38 he spent the season down in the VHLM with the Turku Outlaws in which the team lost in the Founders Cup finals. He then graduated to the VHL where he won the Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy as Top Rookie. This year is different instead of building on the season last year it seems as if Vlasis has taken a step back in his game. His stats are 1 goals and 6 assists in 12 games. That isn't the bad part, the bad part is that he leads the team in +/-. You think oh how is that bad? well let me tell you he is leading in the wrong category with a -6. His icetime has also dropped to 22 minutes per game which isn't that bad but when he used to average 30 last year you know something is wrong. Vlasis' agent Shawn Howard says Vlasis will start returning to practice like usual and get back on the grind. By the end of the season you should expect Dimothenis Vlasis and Mason Richardson as the top 2 dmen on the team.
