Time to talk again about my baby, the Houston Bulls. Throughout S86 Houston has been a very mid tier team. We are still rebuilding after a dumb decision I made to go full out in S84 to win a cup, selling most of my future assets for good players. We fell short in the first round of those playoffs, and have been feeling the heat since. I would say the future looks bright though, I've made some moves that I think will benefit the team for the next two seasons and I'll go into further detail here.

So to start off, here are the players that should be returning next season if inactivity is not a problem:

C- Antonio Marchand - 151 TPA

LW - Braeden Panarella - 98 TPA

C - Grunkle Stan-dingyouup - 93 TPA

RW - Connor McLaughlin - 80 TPA

D - Zach Whelan - 169 TPA

D - Roy Krishna - 126 TPA

G - Shadow Thompson - 125 TPA

I feel like these 7 players make up a great 4-2-1 core heading into next season. The only problems that come up is McLaughlin is heading towards being IA, and Whelan and Krishna are free agent signings, so I'll have to sign them again. If I can get all three players back in action for S87, I also have some great picks for the upcoming draft. My picks consist of a 1st round, a 2nd round, and three 3rd round picks. I believe the 1st to 3rd round produces great players, who should all be above 100 TPE. I sold my lower round picks for the next draft since I believe it will be a weaker draft class with picks that will go to waste or just drafting IA players. I'm hoping that my 5 high round picks can bring in some great talent, and move my 4-2-1 roster to hopefully a 6-5-1 roster. I know that defensemen in the VHLM are hard to find as of late, so I would want to target that position in the draft. Waiver players usual create forwards, so to fill my roster with forwards doesn't seem like mission impossible. Then I want to keep Thompson as my solo goalie since Thompson has been part of the team for the last two seasons, and the way they earn I believe they will have two more seasons left to play. If Thompson graduates and I'm left with no goalie, the VHLM implemented a new IA goalie rule where you can sign an inactive goalie if you do not have an active one, so I'm not worried about goalies just yet.

Moving onto S88 picks, we have 5 picks in the first four rounds that will produce great prospects. I might consider trading away my first round picks in S87 and S88 for maybe third round picks or players, but we'll see what happens. I really do believe after two rougher seasons that Houston is on the rise and should be a cup contender for S87 and S88. I am super excited to be back in the winning column again, and hoping I can bring a Founder's Cup back to Houston after a long 18 seasons.
