My first ever sig, still learning and not the best, but I thought this was a good first attempt!

I like the logo swap, it was swapped pretty cleanly. I really like the transition from the main part of the sig to the overlay of the US flag, kind of caught my eye. I like the font that you used, especially the one on the bottom that spells out the last name. In my opinion I like the render position, kind of to the side, isn't the main part of the sig, and I also like the VHL logo position. For your first sig this is great, overall:
