Well I think it's fair to say at this point that you move from Toronto to Seattle did not pay the dividends that the Bears were hoping it would. Seattle is only a few spots above Toronto in the standings, with a similarly anemic offense having scored only 18 more goals than the Legion. I guess I can take some solace in the fact that the Bears have given up about 40 fewer goals than Toronto, and considering Sakamoto is a defensive defenseman, that's something, at least.

 

Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet time. There's one week left of school before holiday break, and I will be working from home for one of those days. My wife and younger child only have two days left until their break starts. Then it's the typical holiday stuff: family visiting, eating too much food, trying to sleep in, and when it's all over, the sense of disappointment that it went by so quickly.
