A very exciting S86 season started with Sadie St-Louis being selected in the VHL and VHLE drafts. She began her rookie year in the VHLE with the Stockholm Vikings with high hopes- John Richards and Lachlan Summers were teammates with her. The season began well, and Stockholm was hovering near to the top of the table (nowhere near Cologne of course) in the first few sims. Sadie individually was not producing at a level she thought she should be though. As the season progressed, Stockholm began to drop more and more games where they outshot the other team or just simply should have won. This led to them being on the outside looking in at the end of the season; unfortunately, Sadie's season in the VHLE will not end in lifting a championship trophy. However,  there were many positive aspects of this season to look back on. Sadie ended up with 47 goals and 48 assists in 72 games, good for 4th in individual scoring. She also finished as the league leader in goals! All in all, it was a very successful season for St-Louis and although she is now hoping to move up to the Riga Reign of the VHL, she will look back on Stockholm fondly when and if she indeed leaves.

Riga had a very rough year in S86, coming in last with only 45 points to their name. However, their future is bright with the draft picks they have and players like the Frenchman leading the way for at least the next few seasons. Sadie hopes to be able to contribute to that by helping Riga get into the playoffs and get them a championship soon. Here are a few answers from an end of season press conference with her:

Reporter: What are your thoughts on maybe moving up to the VHL to play for Riga this year?

Sadie St-Louis: I do plan to go play for Riga, I'm super excited to finally take that next step to the VHL. I know it'll be much more challenging there and it'll be a different environment but I think an awesome experience is in store.

Reporter: How do you feel about the end to Stockholm's season and what do you think held you guys back from the playoffs?

SSL: Obviously, we're all pretty disappointed in how it turned out- I think it was a mixture of bad luck and not showing up in the most important games near the end of the year. I really didn't contribute on the scoresheet for the last stretch of games much except for the final game and I think that definitely impacted our chances. It was a fun season but a little bit surprising that we couldn't capitalize on the great season or GM put together and the 100 point season from Abass Jr.

Reporter: How do you plan to spend the offseason this year?

SSL: I'll be spending a lot of time working on my game for next season and I will play in the Pro-Am tournament that is held every offseason to help with that. Otherwise I'll probably be doing a lot of reading and listening to music in my spare time.
