It is possible that the VHL, an online forum based hockey simulation game, could detect the use of AI such as chatgpt by members attempting to write articles to claim TPE (in-game points). One way this could be detected is if the AI-generated content is significantly different in style or quality from the content typically produced by human members. Additionally, if the AI is generating content at a much faster rate than would be possible for a human, this could also raise suspicion.

If the VHL were to discover that some of its members were using AI to generate content, it could have several consequences. Firstly, it could undermine the integrity of the game, as the use of AI would go against the rules and regulations of the VHL. Secondly, it could lead to an unfair advantage for those members who are using AI, as they would be able to claim more TPE than they would be able to earn through writing articles themselves. Finally, it could discourage other members who are playing the game fairly, as they may feel that their efforts are being overshadowed by those who are cheating.

Luckily, the use of AI has become popular, leading to an increase in AI detectors. If the VHL ever has suspicion of a member using AI to gain an unfair advantage against those who do not, they could be able to gain assistance using these detectors to help determine their final consensus. While the AI detectors are not perfect and can have faults in properly determining whether a piece is written by a human member, they could be important to help the moderators gain an idea if a piece was properly written by the human member or not. The future of the VHL could change if members of the league using AI take over, it is important for the VHL to both monitor and discourage the use of AI such as chatgpt to maintain the leagues integrity and the fairness between all members.

It is already possible that members in the VHL could be using AI to earn TPE, which the moderation team needs to be on the look out for. If moderators notice any potential use of AI, they should compare the new posts to ones previously made by the member under suspicion. In addition to this, they should discourage the use of AI and potentially make it a clear rule that AI is not allowed to reduce the potential of members using AI in the future. The future of the VHL could be greatly impacted by AI.

Article Review:  Well written article discussing a valid point.  However I am not sure I am fully bought in to the severity of the problem.  Even if players used some sort of AI to write articles they are still limited to a determined number of Capped points per week.  Many players have proven that meeting this limit is not something that is beyond a humans ability to do alone.  If AI use became an issue it would only manifest in more people achieving max TPE each week, it wouldn't cause an individual to be able to surpass others in the grand scheme of the system.

I give this article a 8/10 from a technical aspect.
