The world is calm just for a moment.

 

The Marlins each wake up at 5:13 on the dot.

 

Staring up at the ceiling.

 

Watching the dancing shapes.

 

The apparitions above.

 

There has not been peaceful rest for some time now.

 

But there has always been strength.

 

A burning hunger that only one more win can quench.

 

The team is eager.

 

To escape the fiendish contract they have entered.
