Trade request revealed

It was revealed last week that a Wranglers player had requested a trade. The identity was never revealed and we're there to change that.

You guys may believe it was the generational swiss Daniel Janser. Coming off a 120 pts season Janser reached the 50 goals plateau for the 2nd time in his career. S87 will be Janser's 7th season in the VHL. Well as you guys probably imagined it's not him.

Could it be the Portuguese magician Cristiano Ronaldo Leandro Goncalves? The former Mexico/ Mississauga forward was drafted 1st overall by Vasteras back in S83. He spent 1 season with them before moving to the Wranglers who drafted him 9th overall. This means Leandro currently has 3 VHL seasons in his book. although his best season in terms of points was in S85 with 81, he managed to score 36 goals with Calgary this season, a career high for him. Well it's not him either.

Well, maybe it's the S83 VHL 13th overall pick Landon Wolanin? This marlin legend  arrived in the VHL at the same time as Leandro so both of them have 3 season and 216 games played. But Landon has 30 more points than the european. Interestingly enough Goncalves has 6 points more than Wolanin in the playoffs both with 18 games played. Maybe they don't have the same amount of points but they've both been traded once in the VHLM and also both of them haven't sent a transfer request to the Wranglers. Yes, the player is not Landon Wolanin in contradiction to his public statement.

By now and with the events in the last couple of weeks i'm pretty sure you guys guessed who it is...it's the quebec borned winger Vincent Laroche-Gagnier. The VLG-Wranglers saga has been a bit weird. It all started a few weeks ago when it was reported that Vincent would skip the VHLE and directly start the season with the canadian team. This announce was really controversial and following the aftermath it was reported that Vincent would finally report to Vasteras and the Iron Eagles. A situation that must have enraged the Quebec forward and push him to ask for a trade.
