Strasmore’s New Year’s Goals

Recommended Posts

Phil Strasmore will be entering his third season in the VHL and is preparing to explode in production.

Although he improved in all stats during his sophomore season, there is a lot of work, particularly offensively, that he can improve on. Below is a list of his goals (double entendre too) that he hopes to achieve this year:

- Score more goals each season. At least 10.
- get more assists, at least 60 each season

- Pass the 1000 TPE mark.

- collect 250 hits per season

- win the Continental Cup.

All in all, his main goal is the Continental Cup. Calgary have been a force in the league for the past few seasons but have failed to win a playoff series in a while. The harsher league critics are starting to call them the Calgary Maple Leafs. That hurts. You have no idea how much that hurts.

what was not on his list was winning the Beketov Trophy. This has always been his career goal but he just thinks there are too many good playmakers in this league to compete with them for a shot at the trophy.

Strasmore hopes for a happy and Healthy year.

Article Review:  I always love articles where people talk about their players goals, especially when those goals are significant.  Good luck in achieving your goals, and hopefully you will find that your stretch goal of the Beketov trophy isn't too far out of your reach.  Calgary definitely has a number of strong players wo are leading the league, not sure if this will help or hinder you in the long term.  I give this article a 9/10, well written, fun article.
