The King called a press conference this afternoon after proclaiming himself as the 4th "A" and also giving himself more PP time in the lineups. He even called the press conference himself. When General Manager STZ and dat scrub Draper heard about it, they were not surprised, and also in no way, shape or form, did they try to stop this.

 

Let's listen in on this conference.

 

Q: "You've named yourself as the 4th Alternate Captain although the VHL allows only 2 Alternate Captains and Helsinki hasn't named an off-ice 3rd. How do you explain that?"

 

The King: "I don't like the number 3, or else I would've taken that instead. The Rulebook is wrong. Czar is right. Czar is love. Czar is life."

 

Q: "Mr. Czar, how do you think your veteran teammates feel about this?"

 

The King: "The word "rookie" is only a word, the vets don't disagree with this, have any of them spoken up?"

 

Q: "But sir.. we heard you silenced them when poor James Faraday tried to denoun--"

 

The King: "We will not speak of this matter"
