LastOneUp 160
Montgomery Burns, or Monty as he preferred to be called, walked into the press conference room for his first interview with the media before joining his new VHML team. As a rookie who had never played in the VHML, Monty was understandably nervous. However, he managed to remain calm, cool, and collected as he took his seat at the table. Monty's tall and muscular frame dominated the room, and the reporters looked up at him with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. Monty took a deep breath and smiled, trying to project an air of confidence and reassurance. He knew that his performance on the ice would be closely scrutinized, and that his answers to the reporters' questions would be analyzed and critiqued by fans and critics alike. The first question came from a reporter at the front of the room. "Monty, you're a rookie who has never played in the VHML before. How are you feeling about joining the league, and what do you hope to achieve?" Monty paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts before responding. "I'm feeling both nervous and excited about joining the VHML. It's an incredible opportunity, and I'm honored to be given the chance to compete at this level. As for my goals, I just want to do my best and help my team in any way I can. I know that there will be challenges and obstacles, but I'm ready to face them head-on." Another reporter asked about Monty's style of play. "Monty, you're known for your physical presence on the ice. How do you plan to utilize that in the VHML, and do you think it will be an advantage for you?" Monty smiled again, feeling more comfortable as he settled into the interview. "I do believe that my physical play is one of my strengths. I'm a big guy, and I've always enjoyed using my size and strength to my advantage. That being said, I also know that the VHML is a highly skilled league, and that I'll need to develop my technical abilities as well. So, I'll be working hard to improve all aspects of my game, and hopefully, that will help me succeed on the ice." Another reporter asked: "What team do you want to join?" Monty responds, "I want to win. Mexico City has been doing that. Ottawa has been doing that. I'd be happy to join either of those teams if they are going to remain competitive. But I will work to make whoever I join a better team." As the interview continued, Monty found himself growing more comfortable and confident. He spoke about his training regimen, his admiration for some of the top players in the VHML, and his eagerness to learn and improve. He was humble and respectful, acknowledging the challenges he would face as a rookie, but also expressing his determination to succeed. When the interview finally came to an end, Monty felt a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that the real challenge lay ahead on the ice, but he felt confident that he had done his best to prepare himself mentally and emotionally. As he left the room, Monty felt a mixture of nerves and excitement, eager to take the next step in his journey as a VHML player. Reporter: "No more questions." "Excellent." sadie and Triller 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/133608-montgomery-burns-lets-take-a-stab-at-this-media-thing/ Share on other sites
JCarson 744
Article review: This is a great article, if this is your first as the title would suggest, then well done. The narrative pieces and the conversational nature both added to the overall story you are trying to tell and the graphic added to the overall feel. Keep up the great work hopefully you enjoy your time in the VHLM and can see your player progress throughout the leagues. I give this article a 10/10.
