Following Monty's debut press conference, there was a significant buzz among fans and analysts alike. Some were intrigued by Monty's physical presence on the ice and wondered how he would fare against more skilled players in the VHML. Others were impressed by his humility and eagerness to learn and improve, recognizing that these traits would be crucial for a rookie trying to make it in the league. Another member, @JCarson wrote about the published article from the press conference and also had high praise:

Article review:  This is a great article, if this is your first as the title would suggest, then well done.  The narrative pieces and the conversational nature both added to the overall story you are trying to tell and the graphic added to the overall feel.  Keep up the great work hopefully you enjoy your time in the VHLM and can see your player progress throughout the leagues.

I give this article a 10/10.

In the weeks leading up to the start of the next VHLM season, Monty has worked tirelessly with his old team to stay in shape, honing his technical abilities and learning the nuances of the VHML game. He quickly earned the respect of his teammates with his work ethic and positive attitude, and it wasn't long before he was named a starter for the team's first game. He'll stay with his team until he is drafted.

The game was a close affair, with both teams exchanging blows throughout the first two periods. Monty played a physical game, throwing his weight around and making life difficult for the opposing team's top players. However, he also showed flashes of skill and finesse, making a few key passes and setting up some scoring opportunities for his team.

In the third period, with the score tied at two apiece, Monty seized the moment. He collected a loose puck in the defensive zone, burst past two defenders, and fired a shot past the goalie, putting his team ahead for the first time in the game. The crowd erupted in cheers as Monty's teammates mobbed him in celebration.

The rest of the game was a tense affair, with both teams fighting tooth and nail to secure the victory. In the end, Monty's team held on for a hard-fought 3-2 win, with Monty being named the game's MVP for his clutch goal and dominant physical play.

In the post-game press conference, Monty was once again humble and gracious, deflecting praise towards his teammates and coaches. However, there was no denying the impact he had on the game, and fans and analysts were quick to sing his praises. He showed he is ready for the next level.

Over the course of last season, Monty continued to prove himself as a valuable asset for his team. He scored goals, laid out bone-crushing hits, and played a key role in the team's run to the playoffs. He was the main driver of the teams championship aspirations and Monty had shown that he belonged in the VHLM, and that he had the potential to be a dominant force in the league for years to come.

When Monty's last full season with his childhood team came to a close, Monty reflected on his journey. He had gone from being a nervous rookie with something to prove to a respected veteran who had earned the trust and admiration of his teammates and opponents alike. He knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but he was ready for them. After all, he had proven that he had what it takes to succeed at all levels to date and could not wait to get started in the VHLM.
