Game 29

D.C. Dragons vs. Prague Phantoms

Talk about a game with some delayed fireworks!  After a first period that saw virtually no offense, both teams woke up with a vengeance.  In the second period, Prague seized control of the game with goals from Nikolas Kauppi and Saku Kotkakoivu.  Their 2-0 lead seemed safe at the time, but D.C. had other arrangements.  In the third period, D.C. responded with two goals of their own, thanks to Baxter Arcanum and Corey Kitson who both found the back of the net on the power play.  With the game in balance, Prague turned once more to its offense to squeeze out a win which is precisely what happened. John Jameson scored the go-ahead goal, giving Prague a 3-2 lead and eventually tapped in an empty netter to seal the 4-2 victory for the Phantoms.
