Twelve weeks doesn't sound like that much time, unless you're waiting for something that has a twelve week expected wait time. Such is my current predicament with the query I sent out 3 weeks ago, a requested revise and resubmit of my children's book, designed to be the first in a series. I fired up what I have of book 2, something I haven't looked at in at least a year, and was happy to see that, in terms of word count, it's already half done. I really should get back to my fantasy novel at some point, as well, and I'm hoping to start uploading various gaming videos to Youtube in the coming weeks, so I'll be keeping busy, that's for sure.

 

One thing that's NOT keeping me busy is on-site locker rooms. It appears that neither D.C. nor Vancouver have one any longer, or if they do, they're in disuse. It makes me sad to see almost all of the social interactions moved off-site. Longing for past days doesn't do much good, as I remind myself constantly, but it still disappoints me that so many members never experienced the glory days of site activity.
