Why I joined the Mexico City Kings

I, Magnus Carlsen chose to sign with the Mexico City Kings as a free agent because they made the finals of the M last season, but unfortunately came up just short in the end, and lost. With my player, who is modeled after Jack Hughes I can push the team over the edge, lead us back to the promised land, and finish the job, winning the M. I wanted to join the team that would give me the best chance at winning the VHLM in my rookie campaign, as well as setting me up to have a chance at getting drafted into the VHL. I was looking to add to a forward core of players like, Steven mcdard, Justin Williams, Carson Walker Jr, and Ryan Knock. With the team having solid wingers, but only 1 center before I came, I knew I would add the center depth needed for a deep playoff run. Also, I knew that being one of 2 centers I would get a lot of ice time to optimize development and get some points.
