All roads lead to Rome (and to the Cup) ep.65 (A trade and the start of the season)

Welcome everyone,

 

The season is underway and there are a lot of really good team in the VHLE this season, so it is going to be a fun one. Before the start of the season, the GM of the Rome Gladiators decided to complete one last trade to improve the team. The Rome Gladiators sent antonio marchand @Tapirman, a S89 3rd and a S89 4th to the Bratislava Watchmen for the service of Ray withers @Ray Withers for this season. With this trade, the Gladiators are trying to complete a forward core already very good. However, even if on paper, Rome is supposed to have one of the best roster of the league, on the ice the team is having some problems. Indeed, Rome has a record of 6 wins, 7 losses and 1 lost in overtime for a total of 13 points in 14 games. This record places them 6th in the standings, but only 6 points behind the Geneva Rush who are 2nd in the standings.
