ScottyP 196
Rip Wheeler - Early Season review: As of today we are 22 games into Season 88 of the VHLE. I’m gonna take a look at Rips stats and try to break down the good the bad and the ugly. First off 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 points I. 22 games…not horrible, but definitely would like Rip to have more of an impact on the offensive side of things. Gotta improve on that area for sure. Next plus/minus…plus 5 is at bad…we have had a lot of close games and one goal losses, but it’s nice to see Rip isn’t a liability on the defensive end. And 50 shots is respectable, but still would like more pucks in the net. Next is 63 hits and 42 PIMs…not bad for a rookie trying to find his way in the league. 5th in the league in hits and 4th in PIMs, Rip is definitely sticking to the tough nosed brand of hockey he promised. Excited to keep adding TPE and watch Rip continue to make an impact for the Storm.
