Westwood Traded to Philly

As the VHLM approached the trade deadline, the Las Vegas Aces were active in shipping out some of their key offensive pieces. The biggest deal was with the Philadelphia Reapers where Las Vegas traded forwards Dank Turtle and Zyn Westwood in exchange for a handful of future draft picks. Las Vegas was having a very mediocre season and found themselves outside of the playoff picture as the trade deadline approached.

 

Westwood, a first year VHLM player, was starting to find his stride offensively recently after a very slow start to his career. In 41 games with the Aces, he potted 12 goals and added 14 assists for 26 points while also posting 143 shots on goals. We caught up with Westwood after the trade broke:
