The Saskatoon Wild may not be at the top of the league standings, but rookie sensation Montgomery Burns is certainly making a name for himself. With a standout performance in the All-Star Skills competition, Burns won the Hardest Shot competition and also scored a goal in the All-Star game.

Despite his individual success, Burns is focused on helping his team succeed. With 22 goals and 16 assists, he's been a driving force for the Wild's offense. However, the team has struggled to find consistent success, as they sit outside the playoffs.

When asked about the team's recent struggles, Burns was quick to acknowledge that they need to work harder and stay focused on executing their game plan. Adversity is nothing new in the world of hockey, and Burns knows that it's important to stay positive and never give up.

One of Burns' unique strengths on the ice is his ability to score goals from anywhere on the ice. He's always looking for scoring opportunities and has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. His 229 shots and 100 hits also show that he's not afraid to get physical and battle for the puck.

In pressure situations, Burns stays calm and focused. He knows that his team is counting on him to make plays and contribute to their success. As a rookie, he's already proven himself to be a key player for the Wild, and it's clear that he has a bright future ahead of him.

Off the ice, Burns also has a love for the sport of lacrosse. He sees it as a way to stay in shape and work on different aspects of his game during the off-season. He is also an avid golfer in the off-season.

Despite the team's struggles, Burns remains optimistic and focused on helping the Wild make a push for the playoffs. With his talent and work ethic, there's no doubt that he'll continue to be a standout player in the league for years to come.
