What is up with Warsaw?

Well, the Warsaw Predators have been severely underwhelming this season. With the addition of Cole Pearce in the off season the expectation was big for Warsaw, but still sitting out of a playoff spot, the team is clearly struggling. Now the odd reality of the struggling team is not only did they add a top goaltender with an excellent backup, but the stars on the team are playing excellent. Brendan Marner has 39 goals and 90 points in only 60 games but is currently at a standstill at that 39-goal mark. Marner is in the top of the leaderboard of both of those feats as well. Brian Payne has shown his skills with the 70 points he has in the 60 games as a defenceman. Payne is in the top 5 for defensive scoring as well. There are 4 players that are between 4 points below or above a point a game. The team isn’t lacking scoring or goaltending, its really just had trouble getting that extra goal to win the games.
