LastOneUp 160
Game 325 Ottawa Lynx vs. Saskatoon Wild In an exciting matchup between the Ottawa Lynx and Saskatoon Wild, the Lynx came out on top with a 3-2 victory. Despite being outshot by Saskatoon 26-21, Ottawa was able to capitalize on their opportunities and secure the win. The game's first star was awarded to Conference Prince-de-Galles, who had a standout performance with one goal and one assist. Davis McLirath was named the second star of the game for his solid defensive play, and Harry Callahan earned the third star for his contribution to the Lynx's offensive efforts. Both teams put up a strong fight, with Saskatoon's Montgomery Burns played well in the losing effort. However, Ottawa's strong defensive play and timely goals proved to be too much for Saskatoon to overcome. This win puts Ottawa in a solid position as they continue to battle for a playoff spot, while Saskatoon will need to regroup and refocus as they look to climb the standings in the coming weeks. LastOneUp 160
Game 327 Saskatoon Wild vs. Mississauga Hounds In a disappointing game for the Saskatoon Wild, they were shut out 4-0 by the Mississauga Hounds. Saskatoon struggled to generate offense, managing only 16 shots compared to Mississauga's 27. The Wild were not able to capitalize on any of their opportunities and failed to get anything past Mississauga's goaltender. On the other hand, the Hounds were able to take advantage of their opportunities, scoring four goals on Saskatoon's goaltender. The game was highlighted by the strong performance of the Hounds' top line, with Reginald the Dodo, Jonny Elgar, and Austin Goulet each scoring two points and earning the three stars of the game. This loss is a tough blow for the Saskatoon Wild as they look to finish the season strong. With only a few games remaining in the season, they will need to regroup and come out stronger in their upcoming games if they hope to climb the standings. For the Mississauga Hounds, this win puts them one step closer to securing a playoff spot and provides a boost to their momentum as they head into the final stretch of the season.
