Hey Warriors! Welcome to this weeks Press Conference. If you can, try to give more than one word answers to appease the powers that be (TPE Updaters).

1)  I feel proud of my teammates' performance in the Junior Showcase Tournament so far. We have faced tough opponents and encountered some challenges along the way, but overall, I believe we have shown great resilience and determination. Each player has contributed to our success, and it's been a pleasure to see everyone giving their best on the ice.

2) The Warriors' biggest rival in the tournament is hard to pinpoint as every team presents its own unique challenges. However, there have been some intense matchups against the Steel, who have showcased their exceptional skills and emerged as a dominant force. The games against the Steel have been highly competitive, and I believe those encounters have brought out the best in our team.

3) Absolutely, I am eagerly looking forward to the S89 draft. It's a significant milestone in every player's journey, where dreams become reality. The draft represents an opportunity to take the next step in my career and join a team that believes in my abilities. It's an exciting time, and I am determined to make the most of this opportunity. As the #3 prospect in the draft, I am looking forward to it immensely.

4) While I understand that the draft process is uncertain and ultimately out of my control, there are certainly teams that I find intriguing and that I believe would be a great fit for my playing style. However, at this stage, my focus is on giving my best in the Junior Showcase Tournament and letting my performance speak for itself. Whatever team selects me in the draft, I will be honored to join them and contribute to their success.

5) Ah, my guilty pleasure song. Well, I have to admit that "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey is one of those tracks that always gets me pumped up. It's a classic anthem that never fails to bring positive energy and a sense of determination. It's a song that resonates with my mindset on and off the ice.

6) Growing up, one of my favorite childhood TV shows was "The Mighty Ducks" series of movies. I loved the combination of hockey and teamwork, and it inspired me to pursue my passion for the sport. It's a nostalgic show that reminds me of the joy and camaraderie that hockey brings.

1) What can't I love about it? He was brought in high overall and given a letter. People included myself expected physical, rough play and boy have we got it. The powerplay goals are a great cherry on top!
2) I think the Steel! Sure there's a difference in the standing but the games are often close and physical and that's how some of the best hockey rivalries are formed.
3) Absolutely. It's bittersweet to see my Marlins split up but it will be fascinating to see where players in my draft class end up throughout their career.
4) None by name I suppose. I'll be drafted by both VHL and VHLE teams and just hope I can help both as best I can in my player's journey.
5) Animals by Nickelback. The band as a whole really is a guilty pleasure. Something i'll play entire albums in the car by myself but never with the guys.
6) Growing up I was absolutely infatuated with the prequel movies. Star Wars has since been a hobby of mine from reading the older books/novels to researching random characters and falling down rabbit holes, wasting away nights at a time.

I believe that Viktor Jensen from the Steel is definitely someone to watch out for next season. He has been a dominant force in the JST and has showcased incredible skill and scoring ability. I've been impressed by his performance and I'm excited to see how he continues to develop in the VHL.

Off the ice, my teammates and I have been spending time together, building camaraderie, and supporting each other. We've been exploring the host city, trying out local restaurants, and enjoying some downtime to relax and recharge. It's important to have a strong bond with your teammates both on and off the ice, and we've been fostering that sense of unity during our time together.

Absolutely, I will miss my Warriors teammates once the JST is over. We've formed a close-knit group, and the bond we've developed through our shared experiences and challenges is something special. We've supported each other on and off the ice, and those connections will stay with me even as we part ways after the tournament. It's always bittersweet to say goodbye, but I'm grateful for the memories we've created together.

Reflecting on my VHLM experience, if I could go back, I would advise my past self to embrace every opportunity and challenge that comes my way. I would remind myself to stay focused, work hard, and continue to develop my skills. It's important to seize the moment and make the most of every game and practice, as they all contribute to personal growth and development as a player.

The last live entertainment I saw was a concert by a local indie band. It was a fantastic experience to be immersed in the live music atmosphere and witness the energy and talent of the performers. Live shows have a unique ability to bring people together and create memorable experiences, and I always enjoy being part of that.

When it comes to fast food or takeout, my go-to place is a local burger joint. They have delicious burgers with a wide variety of toppings, and their fries are always perfectly crispy. It's my guilty pleasure and a great way to indulge after a long day of training and competing.

Answer three questions for 1 capped TPE or all six for 2 capped TPE!

1. Which player (could be yourself or another player) in the JST do you think is one to watch out for next season?

2. Off the ice, what have you and your teammates been up to?

1. There are definitely a few players who we need to watch out for, but I did notice a specific one's performance in the JST games, which is Viktor Jensen, pretty good.
2. Well, I'm more of an introvert so I don't say much, but I'm aware that my teammates have been bonding a lot with each other.
3. Yeah, everyone's really nice, but I'm sure we'll see each other around.
4. Maybe I would tell myself to participate more in the LR.
5. Honestly I can't even remember right now, but it was probably some local show going on.
6. I would say it's either Domino's pizza, or McDonald's, pretty basic.
