Virus lays low Blades Locker Room

AIM-11

Recommended Posts

It's been an up and down season for the Brampton Blades of the VHLM.  After a white hot start out of the gate, the Blades have stumbled, and then got back on their feet, only to see themselves a few points out of the playoffs with very little time left to make up the ground.

While the team has been working hard to try and keep guys all on the same page and pushing for the final playoff position in the Conference, a sickness hit the team hard and has made for a tough go the past week or so.

The team doctor, Mr Alfred Blalock, commented on the sickness after their last game.

"It's nothing too serious, but we're taking every precaution to try and contain the illness and to prevent any further members of our team from getting ill.  Most of the symptoms are flu-like in nature; nausea, fever, and a lack of energy.  We've kept a couple guys out of the lineup for precautionary reasons, but we expect to see most of them back shortly.  It's been an unpleasant experience, but these things happens when people are living in close quarters."

Teams who will be entering the Blades arena during this time have been notified of the virus, and will be taking certain precautions to ensure they stay free of the sickness themselves.
