Teno ProAm Update

During their first ProAm tournament, and coming off an incredible playoff run, Jesse Teno is continuing to prove that they belong among the top goalies in the league. As of Day 2 of the ProAm tournament, Teno has lead the Saturn Steelheads to a record of 10-5-2 which puts them only 1 point behind the first place Maui Stingrays. Though after day 1, the Steelheads were also in second place so have maintained a consistent gameplay.

Teno’s best game of the tournament might be Game 27 against Doomer’s Boomers on day 2. Teno faced 37 shots and only allowed 1 in the first period giving them a save percentage of 0.973. The lone goal, of course, was scored by Teno’s London United teammate Leonard Triller @Triller on the power play. It seems only fitting that a VHL teammate would know how to best score on their goalie. This performance also earned Teno the third star of the game behind former Saskatoon Wild teammate Nikolas Kauppi @Tetricide

It seems the off-season tournament is working well for Teno as they continue to show just why they were worthy of the Continental Cup.
